MGM Grand, Las Vegas, US (171,500 sq. feet)
This place opened in ’93 and stormed onto the scene as the biggest hotel complex, and with a staggering 6,852 rooms it’s the still the biggest hotel in the US. The tower is 293 feet high and you’ll find all your favorite games there – 2,500 slot machines and 139 table games.
Outside the casino is just as exciting too, with five swimming pools you can go for a dip any time! And for CSI fans there’s an interactive game themed around the hit TV show. There used to be live lions in the casino but thankfully those days are long gone.
Crown Casino, Melbourne, Australia (220,000 sq. feet)
Home to the Southern Hemisphere’s second largest casino resort offering, this casino is also where the Asia-Pacific World Poker Series tournament takes place. With 3,000 slots and all your favorite table games you’ll be in casino heaven.
But if that doesn’t float your boat you can get your kicks from laser tag, bowling, or at one of the many nightclubs.
It’s famous for its celebrity guests who’ve been known to come and be entertained in the 1,500-seat ballroom. Known until 2006 as the Tusk Rio Casino Resort it is now the largest casino in the Southern Hemisphere, teeming with fun and games. If you’re not enticed in by the private poker rooms and table games, or grand selection of 257 slot machines then have a go on the go-karts!
And the kids have their own arcade, so whilst you soak it up on the gaming floor or in the huge entertainment complex or the Escapades Theatre, you can be assured that they’ll be having fun too.
